The famous cabarets are located in the Pigalle entertainment district, which is at the southern end of the Montmartre quarter in the 18th arrondissement. Montmartre has always been the center of nightlife in Paris and is home to many cabarets, dance halls, and bars. This is where the Moulin Rouge is located. The Latin Quarter is also one of the preferred places for nightlife. For example, the Paradis Latin is located here.

Paradis Latin is the oldest cabaret in Paris. It was founded in 1802 by Napoleon Bonaparte and has a long and rich history. Over the years, it has experienced many ups and downs, including several closures. After a renovation, it was reopened in 1887 by Gustave Eiffel, the architect of Eiffel Tower. Paradis Latin is located in the Latin Quarter and is known for its traditional French revues, which combine dance, singing, and acrobatics into a single performance.

Elegant attire is appreciated in all establishments. Sporting outfits like flip-flops and shorts will likely not grant you entry. For gentlemen, a suit and tie are preferred, but jeans without holes and clean sneakers are also tolerated. In these temples of femininity, an evening dress and chic shoes for the ladies are not mandatory but certainly welcome.

Photography and video recording are prohibited during the shows in the cabaret houses.


As per Article 221-28 12° of the French consumer code, customers do not have the right of withdrawal. Tickets for the service, once issued, cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged. In the event of a cancellation by the customer, the venue retains the price paid as compensation.

There are no age restrictions at Moulin Rouge & Paradis Latin, however, a minimum age of 6 is recommended and the child must be accompanied by an adult. At Crazy Horse, the minimum age is 10, if the child is accompanied by parents.
